of these actions are of good quality and will perform flawlessly. The
brand of action is for the most, user preference. The caliber will
determine if a long or short action is required.

Add all the
convenience of removable, box magazine to your rifle package. The
spring-loaded finger latch inside the trigger guard drops the box
magazine free, speeds loading and unloading. Made from durable
stainless steel and finished with bake-on, matte, black Teflon®
coating that's self-lubricating and resists scratches and wear.
We
use barrels that we feel are the very best. Such as Shilen, Heart, and
Lilja. If preferred, we will be happy to use one from another
manufacturer. The barrel is a very important component and several
issues need to be considered to build a rifle to fit a specific needs.
All barrels are stainless match.

The
trigger is sometimes one of the most over looked components on a rifle. It’s
very important to the performance of the rifle to have an excellent trigger.
We normally install Shilen triggers on our rifles. There is a wide
range of choices to fit every situation.

Bushing the bolt is a
process where a bushing is machined and epoxied to the existing bolt
and machined to the final dimension, reducing the slop between the
bolt body and the receiver bore. Additionally, the firing pin hole is
bored out and a precision bushing is placed back in the hole so that
the firing pin hits the primer precisely in the center every time.
If your ordering a rifle for target or
long range shooting, these options are a must.

A
muzzle brake is definitely a nice option for some of the larger calibers.
Aquila has developed a brake that will fill virtually every
situation, from heavy to light barrels contours, chambered in from
Magnums to Ultra Magnums. We developed our own brake that we
consider to be one of the best available. This brake removes the
recoil factor, allowing the shooter to concentrate on the shot.

We
carry a large variety of stocks, mainly McMillian and HS Precision stocks. If
another brand or material is desired, we will be happy to
accommodate your needs.

All internal and external parts of the rifle are coated for
maximum protection. Colors can be mixed to
produce a camo pattern.
Stainless rifles are offered in brushed,
satin or finished in one of the coatings mentioned above.

To ensure
safety, Aquila installs a 3 position "Bolt" safety on all of its
rifles. Our rifles end up in extreme environments, be it for
military, law enforcement or hunting, and our rifles need the best
safety available to ensure they perform flawlessly and safely. It
is an All-machined steel shroud and lever upgrades the Remington 700
action to a full, three-position safety. It permits safe use
of match grade triggers that lacks a safety. It Provides bolt
locked, bolt open and fire positions with positive detents.
