The
receiver bolt face and threads are machined so that they are perfectly
aligned with the bolt channel. The bolt lugs and face are machined to
be in alignment with the bolt body. This process not only trues the
receiver and bolt, but reduces the stress on the bolt and the lug face
caused by the miss alignment inherent from the factory.
A
process where the receivers raceway is reamed to .705 and a bushing is
machined and welded to the existing bolt and machined to the final
dimension, reducing the slop between the bolt body and the receiver
bore.
This is
a procedure where a busing is machine fitted into the existing firing
pin hole, reducing the slop in the firing pin to ensure exact strike
every time.
A great
deal of attention is used to thread, chamber, head space, and face off
muzzle and crown the barrel to ensure that it conforms to exact
tolerances. A range rod is utilized in setting up the barrel in the
lathe so that the chamber is cut to line up with the bore. If the
stock needs to be altered, there may be an additional cost.

bore.
A 11 deg
recessed crown is machined after cutting the barrel down.

Before a
scope is mounted into the rings, we lap the rings to insure the best fit
possible. All of the mounting screws are torqued to the proper
in/lb.
